How do you feel about your birthday? Do you look forward to it and remind all your friends, or do you dread it and try to keep it a secret?
I L-O-V-E my birthday! I look forward to it every year! So, yes, absoulutely I remnind people of it. Heck the next day I remind them that my birthday is only 364 for more days away.
However, there is a reason behind all of this, I share my birthday with my sister Jodi and we're not twins. Jodi is the oldest and I am the youngest. She is 8 years older than I am, so she was able to have a great birthday for 7 years, all by herself. Then I came along and pretty much ruined everything. I was born on a Friday night, so you can imagine how excited my 8 year old sister was to have her birthday on a Friday. She was going to have a sleepover and everything was worknig perfectly. Sadly, my mom went into labor and sent Jodi's friends home. I was born, ruined Jodi's big day, and maybe even her life. Okay, the life part is a little dramatic.... Although, there was this one year where Jodi wanted to kill me. Way back, we use to celebrate as a family and go to a restaurant chosen by the birthday person, Jodi and I would switch off years. One year, I chose Taco Bell, Jodi was so mad. But I think that this was prior to my discovery of the Olive Garden.
So, outside of my family I make my birthday a HUGE deal. Shortly after I moved back to MN and started my new job, my birthday came. I never really mind the turning older part either.
Only 141 days until my next birthday......
What do you do with the cards and letters you receive? Do you keep them all, just keep the photos, throw them away?

I haven't received a letter in a long time, but when I do, I keep them. I keep a lot of my cards, not all of them, but most of them. I keep them if they are photo cards. I have a box full of my cards and letters. Every once in awhile I look through them and it makes me happy.
What is your daily commute like? What is the weirdest thing you've seen on that commute?
Submitted by E.
My daily commute is not so bad. It depends what time I work. If I work early at 7, it's a breeze, about 25 minutes to get there and another 25 home. If I work at 8, then it's about 40 minutes there and another 40 or so home. However, last week, because of the snow, it took me an hour and a half to get home.
I don't really see anything weird on my commute. Normal stupid
people driving in my exit only lane, then stops traffic when they need
to get over.
